About Afterlike

Afterlike helps you revisit old Twitter likes, rediscover authors and save posts worth keeping.

Afterlike was created by Maryana Kozhevnikova. I wanted to reread tweets I’d liked, find my favorite authors again, and avoid scrolling through miles of the feed.

What happens to your data

Your archive is processed in the browser. Author lookups, sync and loading images may contact external services.

Your ZIP is processed in the browser

Afterlike reads your ZIP on your device and saves imported posts in the browser. The archive is not sent to a server.

Author lookup is optional

When you start a lookup, selected post IDs go through Afterlike’s server to FxEmbed. Your archive is not sent.

Cloud sync is opt-in

If you enable sync, your library is encrypted in the browser and uploaded to cloud storage. Otherwise there is no cloud copy.

Images load separately

Images may load from Twitter servers. Imported post text remains available offline.

Clearing browser data may erase your local library. Export a backup of anything you want to keep.

Wanting to reread their posts was one of the reasons Afterlike came to life.
